MIA – Broward Outreach Center

The Broward Outreach Center project is a partnership that started approximately five years ago. Over the years, we have consistently dedicated our time and efforts to support their mission through volunteering events and activities.

The Broward Outreach Center operated in two locations: one in Hollywood and the other one in Miami. Our collaboration is in Miami, where we have been able to make a difference in several different ways. See some examples below:

Annual toy drive – We ask our South Florida employees to donate toys that the shelter gives to local families in need. help alliance Americas matches all monetary donations, and we use all the money donated to purchase more toys/gifts to drop off at the shelter.

Toy Sorting – Our employees in South Florida also volunteer to help sort out all the toy donations at the shelter by categories, ensuring they are ready and packed to be distributed to the families. As you can see, we receive a huge amount of toy donations, and it takes a team effort to sort them out and help make a child happy during the holiday season.

Serving lunch / dinner – We extend our support by going to the shelter and assist in setting up meals in the kitchen and serving lunch or dinner to the residents.

Sponsoring lunch / dinner – help alliance Americas has also sponsored dinner and our employees helped set up the food and serve it to the residents.

Beautification projects – We have repainted the kitchen at one location, painted and decorated some of their residential areas, fixed their garden, and our latest project was concerned with redoing the education room. All supplies are sponsored by help alliance Americas.
