This year 2024 the Social Responsibility Committee in Mexico started a project with APAC, Yolia and Progracademy: Computer Science Is Inclusive (CSBI)
Progracademy and Yolia collaboration – this association helps Yolia girls to study programming. It has been supporting Yolia for two years and in 2024 help alliance Americas became its sponsor. Furthermore, help alliance Americas will buy computers so that the training can be delivered properly, as the equipment currently available is obsolete and cramped.
Progracademy and APAC – Progracademy had never worked with people with cerebral palsy before, so a pilot with APAC was started to see if this was feasible. It became a success and with great satisfaction the programme will continue throughout the year being sponsored by help alliance Americas.
APAC runs a bakery and sells biscuits and empanadas. Lufthansa is supporting APAC in the monthly purchase of biscuits, as they are now consumed on a daily basis and at events or meetings, instead of buying biscuits from the supermarket.
