NYC – Bayard Cutting Arboretum

Our ‘help alliance Americas’ relationship with the Bayard Cutting Arboretum started back in 2021 as part of the ‘Volunteer Week’ engagement. This beautiful 691-acre large New York State Park is located out on Long Island, approximately 24 miles South-East of our LHG Uniondale office, and is home to a rich history of landscape design and botanical specimens.

Our engagement with the park has become a tradition by organizing two events every year, volunteering in the park with all the required planting, removing invasive plants and weeds. Each time we managed groups of up to 25-35 people, which made it not only a fun event, but also reflects our company’s policy on environmental activities and supporting sustainable nature preserve.

In 2023, the park even honored our continuous engagement by offering us the adoption of the Royce Rhododendron Garden in the park; help alliance Americas also donated several trees, which we planted in that area. For 2025, we already have planned to initiatives which will take place in May and September.
